Are obsolete TP1/C802.2 transformers still available in North America?

TP1 transformers built and in the U.S.A. before January 1^st, 2016 can still be sold and installed in the U.S.A. At the time of this writing, stocks of new TP1 transformers are no longer readily available but may still be found in the used market.

In Canada, NRCan 2019 will ban manufacturers from selling transformers after May 1^st, 2019 which don’t meet the new 2019 efficiency regulations. Older C802.2 units can still be sold by distributors and installed after the regulations.
