How do you wire a HPS single phase transformer with a 240V/120V secondary to an electrical panelboard?

HPS single phase transformers with dual 120/240 VAC coils can be wired to a variety of electrical panelboards.

Primary Connection: Wire the HPS transformer from the source to the primary of the transformer. Refer to your transformer nameplate for connection details.

Secondary Connection: Wire the transformer secondary to the panelboard. Wire your grounding details per the drawings below and per the application requirements.

• Apply power to the transformer only after you have determined all wiring and grounding details are correctly and safely installed.
