What is the benefit of adding the capacitor contactor option to a Centurion P passive harmonic filter?
If the VFD sometimes runs at light load then switching out the capacitor in the filter prevents leading power factor from occurring. Please be aware that no filtering occurs when the capacitor is switched out though.
