When should I consider using a SineWave Filter?

You should consider using a SineWave filter when one or more of the following apply:

  • The length of the cables between the VFD and motor exceeds 1000ft and is less than 15,000ft
  • The motor was not designed for inverter duty
  • The application is critical, downtime is very costly and motor life needs to be maximized
